The Johnson's: Busy Week

We have had a busy week. Last Saturday we went to Hyatt Lake for the day, so David could help do a fish transfer. The weather was really nice when we left Klamath, but was cold and foggy at the lake. Reese and I spent the day inside, while David got to freeze on the boat. On Monday, I had a dentist appointment, so Reese got to stay with a babysitter for a couple hours. He did good, and even ate from a bottle for the first time without any problems. He also had 2 nights last week that he slept 7 hours straight, which was really nice.

Yesterday we went with my friend Tiffany and her daughter Grace yard sailing. There is a housing development just outside of town that has one every summer. It's nice, becuase you can just park, and walk to all of them without having to keep getting in and out of the car. It was a really nice day, and we got to use the stroller for the first time. I found a little Dallas Cowboys jacket for Reese, but it won't fit him until he gets older. David was not real impressed! Yesterday was also the Kruise of Klamath. It's an old car show in the afternoon, and at night they drive around downtown. David went to the show in the afternoon while we stayed home. It was so hot, and I didn't want to be out in the sun all day. We did go to the Kruise at night. It was nice to be outside for a while, and again, Reese slept through most of it. He didn't really even seem to care when the loud cars would go by.

Happy birthday today to my friend Audra. I hope it's a great one! Tomorrow I go back to my doctor for my 6 week checkup. Reese will just go with me, instead of to the babysitter's. I have to go back to the dentist on Wednesday for a filling, so he will have to stay with my friend Renee then. I am going to try and go to the employment office that day too, while I have someone to watch him. I will probably start bookkeeping again next week, so I might as well start job hunting too, so I can start collecting unemployment.
