September Already?

We have been busy the past couple weeks. Two weekends ago we went to Medford for a day, to get out of town for a while and to do some shopping. We had some gift cards for Reese, so of course we did buy him a couple things. They are things that he won't be able to use until he is a little older, but it will be nice to have them. Last Friday, David and I played on a team for a putting tournament. We didn't do very well, but it was fun. It was nice for me to have some adult time too. Reese stayed with a friend that I use to work with. He was fussy for her, and stayed that way for about a week. He was not wanting to go to bed at night, and was waking up a couple times during the night too. Not sure what that was about, but he is back to sleeping through the night.

Reese has been busy rolling on to his sides. He rolls on both sides, but can't quite figure out how to get on to his tummy. He sure tries though. He even does it while he's on the changing table, so I have to be careful when I change his diapers now too. He has also been drooling a lot, and blowing bubbles with his mouth. That seems to keep him quite entertained.

Also last weekend, a good friend from high school was out to visit us. We didn't do too much...not much to do here, and is hard to do a lot with Reese. Was nice to visit with her though and have some company. We just hung out at home this weekend. Not sure if we will do anything next weekend or not. We are going to start looking at houses again, so maybe we will be able to do that one day next weekend. I do have an interview scheduled for later this week, so hopefully that will go good. It's for an office position, but it would be something. I'm also planning to have dinner with the girls this week, and that is always a fun time to look forward to. David & I were talking last night, how we can't believe that it was a year ago this week that I got pregnant. Seems like that time flew by, yet so much has changed for us in the past year.

The hat's still a little too big. He reminded me of that kid from the Fat Albert cartoon because it kept falling down over his eyes.
