The Johnson's: 4 Months

Things have been busy the last few weeks for us. We are in the process of buying a home, so we have been busy with that. We had an accepted offer on a condo, had inspections done, and then on Friday, found out that the owner (a bank) cancelled our contract...so we have been dealing with that this weekend. Hopefully everything will work out, we ended up having to basically start over, with having to make an offer on the place again. We did the same thing that they accepted, so I don't see why they would turn it down this time. Hopefully we will have an answer tomorrow, so we can close on it before the end of October.

I have actually been applying for some jobs this week, which is nice. Nothing really in accounting, but there have been some office positions opening up, that actually pay decent. Hopefully one of them works out. I also FINALLY got in to have my hair cut/colored this week. Has been a year since I had it colored, I didn't have it done at all while I was pregnant. Was nice to have a couple hours to myself, and to do something for me instead of for everyone else.

Reese had his 4 month shots on Monday, and he did good. Only screamed for a couple minutes, then he was ok. We are starting to try to get him converted to formula. Last night was the first night he took it. We mixed it with my milk about 3 to 1, and he was ok with that. We are going to try to give him a bottle every night, and after a few days will try to up the amount of formula. I have been having a harder time feeding him lately, and with me having tax class twice a week, David will need to start feeding him more anyway.

Reese and I are going to Phoenix on Thursday for a long weekend. I'm really looking forward to it, just wish David could go with us. I know he is really in need of a vacation. It will be fun though, but I'm not looking forward to the heat. It's finally going to cool off here this week, but I suppose I'll live.
