Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope yours is a great one!

Not much is new at our house. I have been busy with both jobs and being mom/wife that I haven't had much time to sit down at the computer. Tax season so far is going well. It has been a lot busier than usual, so we have been staying open until 9pm instead of 7. Hopefully that will be ending soon, since the days that I work those long hours I don't get to see Reese. David and I both have been sick in the last few weeks, with just a head cold. We haven't really done any more work on the house, since there hasn't been much time. David started playing flag football again on Saturday mornings, so we are not home too much.

Reese still has no teeth. He's pulling himself up onto everything and thinks it's fun to let go. Yesterday while I was at work he fell while trying to stand at the coffee table. I think it was more dramatic for his dad than it was for him. He does have a little mark on the side of his face, but I'm sure he will live. I'm still trying to get him to eat real food, but he makes a face like everything is gross. Will keep trying, he can't eat baby food forever. He sure does babble a lot. This morning I got him from his crib and took him back to our bed to wake David up, and it sounded like he said hi dada. Pretty cute, but I guess I have to get working on him saying mama instead of dada.
Look at all the Valentines I got!

We went out for dinner last night to the place where we got engaged. That was our Valentine's celebration. I put together a little gift basket for David. I was going to get him a different gift, but he just bought himself a laptop, so I didn't spend much on him. Reese made me a plaster print of his hand and footprint and they got me some lotion too. We got Reese a little toy and a balloon. The balloon was hours of entertainment, and he played with the valentine's cards he got almost all afternoon yesterday. I don't imagine we will do anything else today but laundry, clean, phone calls, etc.
It snowed a few weeks ago, so I made a snowball and brought it in for Reese. He touched it once, then wanted nothing to do with it.

Napping

I finally got my own remote!

I'm so glad this Tastefully Simple stuff finally came in!
