Happy New Year

Happy 2011! I'm not sure what happened to 2010, it seemed to fly by.

Since I haven't posted since before Thanksgiving, I will try to fill you in on the last month...We spent Thanksgiving at home. David's parents & brother came over for the day. The next morning I got up early & did some shopping before getting sick for the rest of the weekend. I fought a bad cold, then when I thought I was getting over it, got pink eye in both eyes. I was wanting to take a day off of work, but not to be sick. Luckily, no one else got it. Reese & David were able to play outside in the snow while & was sick & they did let me get some rest.
We didn't do a whole lot throughout December. David's Christmas party for work was one weekend & mine was the following weekend. I wasn't able to go to either one, as we didn't have a sitter. Reese's regular sitter was on vacation for a week. David's sister flew in from Texas & was able to spend a few days watching Reese at our house. He was a big helper & liked playing with his cousin Conner.
Playing with ConnerThen we took them all over to Grants Pass & left Reese there for 3 days. He was good the whole time he was there but once we got back he sure got an attitude! Took us about a week to get back in to our routine after Christmas.

Reese had a lot of fun this Christmas. He liked the tree & lights and opening presents but he didn't really seem to care what was in them. By the time we got home Christmas night, he was done opening presents & very cranky since he wasn't sleeping well away from home.

It looks like we already have plenty of projects lined up for the winter. We are planning to recaulk/grout the shower & found yesterday that the dining room floor is buckling, so it looks like we will be relaying the floor in there. I'm also adding (finally) some videos of Reese, 1 of him dancing & the other of him playing with the truck he got.

He just started doing this trick yesterday & he thinks its pretty funny.
